Sopa

I'll get back to doing my other art soon.
I've been seeing quite a lot of SOPA posts around that have been giving me ideas for short comics.
This one deals with (depending on how severe the bill is) the possibility of people who make fanart will go to jail whereas some people who have done more serious crimes only get a slap on the wrist and how overcrowded the jails are already are. :/ All the money to keep everyone in jail will practically come out of tax payers' money too.
I do agree that there are many problems with copyright on the internet but shouldn't they find a better solution?
I have found that certain Copyright infringement (non-commercial for entertainment and as long as the infringer doesn't claim it to be their own) can have benefits such as anime's getting popular from watching people's AMV's or how Psy became so popular from his song being shared around so much which has given them a lot of profit.
I really think that copyright laws need to be re-written.
